Situated in Donja Vinjani (a small village about 3km from the centre of Imotski and a 2 minute drive from the Bosnia-Herzogovina border) the freestanding 3 bedroomed house offers accommodation with a hottub. A grocery shop and bakery are within walking distance.
Exploring the hinterland over time we though it only logical to also offer a hinterland option in the beautiful Imotski area.
The house has 3 bedrooms (2 double bedrooms with 160×200 beds and 1 single bedroom (with the possibility to make 2 bunk beds of 90×200) which can be found on the 2nd floor where there is also a 2nd WC and a large balcony.
The large bathroom with a shower and washing machine is on the ground floor.
The Lounge, dining table and kitchen with a large pantry and dish washer is found on the ground floor.
The house has a flat screen tv in the lounge, washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ area, a coffee perculator, microwave, large fridge and has off road private parking.
A konoba (kitchen/cellar area in Croatian) is perfect for playing games and is equipped with a 2nd kitchen (small fridge, 4 burner electric stove and large table).
It is fully equipped with glasses, cutlery and crockery).
In the garden is a stone table under the cover of a grapevine covered pergola.
A terrace of the lounge has plenty of space to relax next to the hottub(180cm round) which of course can be used to cool down as well as the temperature can be set.
The property can easily accommodate 5 persons in the bedrooms (6 with bunkbeds set up) and then there is a sofa bed in the lounge.
Imotski is a lovely town with a nice centre. It has lots of restaurants, cafe’s, shops and terraces to watch the hustle and bustle from.
As owners we love the area as it is close to many different activities such as the Red and Blue Lake (and other walking tracks galore in the surrounding area), Biokovo mountain with many walking tracks and the glass Skywalk with beautiful views to the islands which opened in 2020, the coast for a day at the beach in beautiful Brela at barely a 20 to 25 minute drive or explore Bosnia Herzegovina and visit the Kravica Waterfalls (about an hours drive) and go kayaking or relax on the beach there, the village of Međugorje known for a series of apparitions of the Virgin Mary since 1981 or the city of Mostar and explore the famous bridge and its history in an area strewn with souvenir shops, ice cream shops and lovely local restaurants.
Don’t forget to include a day trip to lovely Omiš (old pirate town) and the lovely coastal walks/beaches with lots of terraces in Makarska and Brela.
